LOVES PARK, IL (Wednesday, July 09, 2008) – The BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet is preparing for its first visit to Golden Sands Speedway in Plover, WI for the Kwik Trip Special Olympics 58 this Friday night. The 1/3 mile banked paved oval will host the best “Weekly Warriors” as part of their popular Friday night program.

In the three races so far this season, two drivers have stood out among the rest of the pack. Michael Bilderback and Jeremy Miller are currently tied at the top of the point standings.

Bilderback took home the first win of the season by capturing the Spring Classic 100 at Rockford Speedway. Miller wasn’t far behind as he came home third.

The two met again a few weeks later at Madison International Speedway where Miller made a last lap pass on Bilderback to collect the win.

(Oregon, WI) June 24, 2008 - Michael Bilderback could only shake his head and the hand of Ryan Carlson in victory lane after Tuesday's Rockweiler Insulation 38 lap feature for the BRB Big 8 Late Model Series. In early May, Bilderback led the white flag lap at Madison International Speedway only to be passed by Jeremy Miller on the final circuit. Working the high line around "Wisconsin's Fastest Half-Mile," Bilderback went wheel to wheel with Carlson for the final five laps only to fall short for a second time in 2008. In a finish almost too close to be decided by transponders, Carlson nipped Bilderback by a matter of 0.003 seconds for his third career Big 8 win.

OREGON, WI (Sunday, May 04, 2008) – Jeremy Miller and Michael Bilderback got the large crowd on hand at Madison International Speedway on their feet as the two put on a classic short track battle in the Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet feature event. At the checkers, it was the defending champion holding off the young pilot.

Bilderback led most of the 38-lap event, while Miller made a hard charge at the end. “I kinda used Mikey up there. He was pinching me on the bottom and I got a better run than him and he was slowing up, so I gave him a little nudge just to move him back where he belonged. It was a racing thing,” Miller described his last lap move as the two came out of turn two.

Bilderback wasn’t to upset with the move, “We started burning off our right rear, we were getting real loose off of the corner,” Bilderback stated. “He got into me a little bit, but you know its racing.”
